Hi, my name is Glynne Cousins-Pietzsch (pronounced ‘Peach’) and I am an Australian Government authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. I reside in the picturesque town of Yea, Central Victoria, in the Shire of Murrindindi, 1½ hours travel from Melbourne. I am willing to travel to all areas by prior arrangement. Distance is not a problem.

I am able to provide you with a number of different ceremony styles, or alternatively, help you to write your own ceremony that best helps you to capture the spirit of the occasion – be it a rich traditional service or a more contemporary ceremony. Civil Ceremonies allow you the flexibility to ensure that your day is special to you.

How would I describe myself? Well I’d have to say I’m on the lower side of being middle age. I have worked as a Personal Care Assistant/Diversional Therapist for the past fourteen years for the Yea Memorial Hospital and I love this job. I have two wonderful adult children and better still, six treasured grandchildren and two dogs, Jess & Kelli. Family is important to me.

What do I love besides the above? Picturesque sunsets; white cockies flying with a backdrop of a darkened sky; watching flames in an open fire; the roll and fall of ocean waves lapping the sea shore. Gardening is fun along with history and antiques; varied music is a passion; networking and ongoing learning is important. I love meeting people and thoroughly enjoy being a celebrant.
